I obtained my CELTA qualification earlier this year and am planning to head overseas early next year. My ultimate destination is Italy, where I'll settle after attending a friend's wedding in England in April. I would like to leave Australia around February, and am hoping to organise some teaching work from then to April. I've been researching job opportunities in Asia (where I hope to make some good moolah!), but most require a one-year commitment. I then came across the possibility of working at a summer camp in Thailand. Has anyone done this? Any tips/suggestions? Or does anyone have any suggestions for other short-term teaching work in Asia (I'd prefer not to volunteer)? Any ideas will be most appreciated!!
Cheers

I don't think you'll make a lot of money at a summer camp in Thailand. The only one I've seens pays $850 US / month but doesn't provide airfare, accommodation or even help with accommodation. Have you seen something more lucrative? |
