10. Goodbye Butterball turkey, hello golabki.
9. I couldnt think of anything else on my Thanksgiving Day except that it was an ordinary Thursday and another working late evening.
8. A surefire recipe for your unplanned dinner: Sundays leftovers.
7. One thing overheard at the tram an awful lot that morning: something in Polish.
6. It was the evening an obviously drunk guy dressed as Pilgrim, was squeegeeing your windshield with ham juice... Wait. That was back in 2004.
5. To the students: Whoa! Is it 7:15 already? I just missed the Macy's Parade.
4. Good luck finding candied yams or cranberry sauce in Zabka.
3. I didnt get to do the dishes. They were made of Styrofoam that same year.
2. The only wishbone to break was the one I almost broke, after a near fatal fall on the icy sidewalk early that morning.
1. To your Polish girlfriend, who was wearing a sexy negligee to bed for that special occasion: Inflate me? |
