| I heard that the cvapped salary for teachers with HESS is 720NT$ per hour, is this true? |

NT$720 for a normal teacher? I find that hard to believe. I think at Kojen the max is around NT$620 unless you start rising up the ladder.
Has anybody at Hess ever stuck it out long enough to find out? |

| The cap is on $750NTD. I'm at this rate, and now I know what the cap for Kojen is, I'm glad I went with Hess!!! |

| It'll take you a looooong time to get there though - a pay rise of $20, maybe $25 every 6 months, from the starting rate of $560. |

| Salary has nothing to do with success at HESS. Striving for a better school without falling down the ladder they place to 'Jack and the Beanstalk' of belittlement does. |

I am "over it", if you must know. But why be concerned? Does this effect you in any way, make you uneasy that perhaps someone is voicing his or her experiences with HESS? Why should it concern you? And have you at all responded to the other posts I'd written about HESS? I don't think so.
So then, you come out of the blue. Hmmn, tell me, do I not know something's amiss here, and that there's something afoot with HESS, as if the whole shebang is on one great power trip, ie, the biggest signs, the biggest schools, the biggest main headquarters building, the biggest advertisements, the biggest rich man, Mr Fu Man Chu Shoo?
And are you not part of this sort of brainwashing? |

| I think everyone on here has been making some good points, but I agree that it does seem at least a little suspect when a user goes on a website and just flat out tells someone to can their free speech and (sometimes) personally criticizes them for airing their experiences. At least from this perspective, that is suspect. |

I think it's suspect too, Blateson, and I don't think these few HESS comments by others are a coincidence either. That is, those who are 'pro-HESS.'
I rather think they monitor this forum in order to enhance their advertisement and recruitment rate. May sound paranoic, but it's just what I think, since before I'd come here, some gave me 'a little ego-boost.' |

1 - no, you don't make me uneasy. You're free to say what you like about your experience with Hess.
2- if you took the effort to read replies to your posts, you'll see that I have actually replied to your posts before. Don't talk to me like a child.
As I said, I have no concerns about you saying what you like about your experience. But, you seem so adamant to ram this view down everyone's throats. Instead of constantly being overly negative, maybe you could contribute something a bit more useful - perhaps by elaborating on why you feel this way? And perhaps take the time to listen to the things people have said to you instead of assuming that something not quite to your view point isn't worth thinking about?
(edit) Hmm... Bid Wally's post on the 'watch dog' thread pretty much sums up my feelings, and the point I was trying to get across (admittedly not very well) in my previous post.
Yes, I do work for Hess. But, I don't think it's some sort of shining beacon. There's a hell of a lot of things wrong with Hess, but that's true for the great majority of employers. But, few people see a monster quite so scary as the one you see. |
