And there's no dryers in Taiwan, you know what I mean? Finding an apartment with a dryer is like finding a four-leaf clover. I've got socks and underwear hanging everywhere; in the drawers, on my dresser, from the drapery rod, on the door knobs...everywhere, it's like an underwear factory exploded in my apartment. I'm going to Carrefour or RT Mart tomorrow to get one of those clothes drying racks, that's all there is to it.

Actually there are but they tend to be much smaller and make your electricity bills go through the roof. You can purchase a cheap one at the local appliance stare for 3,000 to 4,000 NT.
Obviously you are living in Taipei which is always cold and damp during the winter causing laundry to never really dry properly.
A simple suggestion. Buy a small air conditioner/heater and hang you wet clothes in from of it. Your laundry will dry very quickly and your room will be much more comfortable. As an added bonus it actually cost less in terms of electric bills than using a clothes drying machine.
Please read this,

Good luck!
