Hey folks
Could anyone recommend a capsule hotel in Osaka (preferably near Shin Osaka station), or Kyoto (near Kyoto station)? The train gods have frowned upon my flight departure times, and I'm going to have to go down the night before. A friend will be with me, so I need to know if they accept women as well.
Cheers!

does it have to be a capsule hotel? as far as i know, there are no capsule hotels in kyoto, and no mixed capsule hotels in osaka. why not platonically share a love hotel? |

Heh heh...I would, but my friend is actually coming through 3 days after me. Just collecting info...I was going to book a dorm room at K's House in Kyoto, but I wondered if a capsule in Osaka would be cheaper? |

Go here. It`s a capsule hotel for both men and women in Namba. It`s cheap too - 2,500 yen.

Although it`s not near Shin Osaka, it`s only a 15 minute ride from Namba Station to Shin Osaka Station on the Midosuji subway line.
If you hook-up with a girl for the night and change your mind about the capsule hotel, the place is surrounded by love hotels. It`s a good place. |

Sure, no problem.
Be careful finding it though. It`s really tucked in between all the love hotels! Rather hard to spot. It`s on a very narrow road and it`s right next door to a business hotel.
Good luck. |

Hope this isn't too late, but there is a capsule hotel inside Shin Osaka station, about 3500 yen a night, if memory serves. It's in the front of the East or West Exit, sorry my memory is so poor.... |
