I've taught at both a 'college' and a 'university' in PRC. Students great in both.
The institution I am interested in puts itself forward as university.
Is it in fact a college? |

According to its web site at www.imau.edu.cn it is a university. Chinese schools can not call themselves "daxue" without getting legal authorization from the provincial/state education bureau first. But they can use the English word "university" in their English name if they want to.
I lived in Hohhot for almost a year. So I can tell you a lot about the city if you are seriously thinking about going there to teach. |
