I will tell you that EVERY native teacher leaves their Taksim branch because of being paid late.

This usually takes place between April and September. In the summer it's really bad, with employees being paid as much as a month late.

Other than that, nice school and they treat you well, with good resources. Smile

Why, thanks for the plug. 90% of the information (or more) I get comes from this forum.

There is another regular poster (though he hasn't been here in awhile) that has some experience with Deulcom - whynotme - send him a PM and he'll be able to answer your questions further.

Not sure about terms this year, but last year Academy gave a guaranteed minimum (over the whole contract period) in addition to a reasonable hourly rate.

Not moved into the eski ev yet but will do imminently - it's looking good!

I worked at Deulcom for 9 months, and my experience was different from those stated by teacherdude and enfrcr92. As per contract, I always received my salary within the last two weeks of every month.

I had to cut short my contract due to illness in the family. I really enjoyed my stay in Turkey and hope to go back in the near future. I made many friends among the teaching staff and the student body. Deulcom did everything they had promised, and then more: I was picked-up at the airport, the company paid for a one-month stay in a hotel, and they reimbursed my plane ticket from the Czech Republic (my previous post). Furthermore, they paid for and did all the paperwork related to my residence and work permits. On the down side the accommodation provided could have been better, and health insurance is not included in the package.

I would definitely recommend Deulcom to experienced teachers.

Always make sure to bring notarized copies of degrees, diplomas, and certificates in order to obtain a work permit.

So they have a branch in Adana.

I knew it couldn't be the Taksim branch.

The owner is based there, and he has no shame in having teachers paid late regularly. Even their DOS got fed up and resigned around April of this years. A decent fellow from Canada.
