...as I said in the Girls' forum, the beautiful and the ugly can be found anywhere and everywhere. I've seen gorgeous Japanese girls, but also those with buck-teeth and no chin. I've seen unattractive Russian women but also stunningly gorgeous ones.
Actually this whole topic, male or female, is really really stupid. In any given population you will find aesthetically pleasing folk, as well as those we deem not-so-lovely.
Can we talk about countries where we find the wittiest, most compassionate, most intellectually adventurous folks instead?
My vote: I've found brilliant people wherever I've been. I've also encountered mindless, humourless jerks everywhere.
There.
Have a nice day! |

Yawn-hasn't that been done already? A little light summer entertainment is OK. Sometimes you just want to look, no?
From a chick's point of view you guys should check out Poland(or Sweden) and give hmm Spain a miss. SOME people there look like the inspiration for a Dali painting from an outsiders' point of view. The second part is hard as I've been in many countries thinking there were some nice looking women and wondering what happened to the men.
OK bring on the male opinion. |

Czech women are said to be...smoldering. Just what I heard.
Ive also heard that something strange happens to women visitors to Greece, and that men of all degrees of attractiveness can find it highly opportune to be in that country during vacation periods. I heard that from a rather ugly middle-aged geezer.
Personally, I have a thing for women of any nationality who read newspapers. For some reason I find a woman reading a newspaper irresistible in the extreme. Inexplicable? Maybe. But there it is.
If she looks like CaperGirl's avatar, then all the better of course. |

Gee, Khmerhit, I seem to recall you saying that you prefer redheads. Or were you referring to my avatar's 'other' features? |

Not meant as a brag, but i have travelled to every continent and many small island nations.
Every place i have gone i have found handsome men and beautiful women. Likewise for the ugly. Now, i really appreciate the ugly for without them i would not have a yardstick to know the beautiful.
Marriage to the beautiful one requires constant protection of one's turf, so to speak.
A relationship with an ugly results in overwhelming gratitude and appreciation.
In high school i always dated the ugly duckling and actually got what the jocks bragged they were getting but were not. i did not need to talk about it, they did. |

The beautifuller, the vainer girls are!
Some think their physical attributes ARE their own lifetime investments in their material future! All nice to see and touch, but the head is so hollow, the words so meaningless and the feelings so self-centered. |

True if theres nothing but air up there, the novelty of looks soon wears off; theres looks and theres looks with depth, independence, intelligence and a sense of humour whatever the nationality.

| What was that old song, 'If you want to be happy for the rest of your life, never make a pretty woman your wife ... her face is ugly ... her eyes don't match ... take it from me, she's a better catch'? |

Yes, men are scared of beautiful women. The thinking goes something like this:
Oh no shes beautiful, and with her weak girly mind shell run off with the first guy she sees I need more control if only she were less attractive.
Muy lgico, time to evolve. |

I just read a book called "The Good Women of China."
No, it's not about that.
It was written by a Chinese woman who hosted a radio program about women's issues in the PRC during the 1980s and 1990s. It's a collection of stories relating the realities of the lives of women during and after the Cultural Revolution. A very sobering read, I must say.
Anyway I had the following conversation with a friend of mine who saw the title:
"China?"
"Yep."
"Women?"
"Yep."
"Good?"
"Yep."
Now is that typical male discourse or what? |
