One of the principles of secularism is the separation of man-skirt and state. So I'd suggest not government institutions. I would suggest however some private dershane's. If you do thought, forgodaskes, don't drop your board marker.

I'm actually getting married in my kilt on a boat on the Bogaz. I hope it's not too windy that day. Embarassed

Anyway I don't want to hijack HMAF's thread.... but which tartan did you wear?


I wear the Royal Stewart... it's not my fault my surname is English.

( if you have a non-Scottish name then I think there are 4? tartans you can wear... even the English... but there are those who argue that the kilt is the invention of the 18th cent. englishman.)

I wore the Royal Stewart as well although I should have worn the MacDonald as my last name is Park. To my eye the Royal Stewart is the best looking of them all....good luck big yin.
