I am moving to San Luis Potosi the end of this month. I was wondering if anyone needs a room mate or knows of a place to rent. I have a dog and cat so hopefully that won't be too much of a problem.

Check out the newspaper 'El Sol de San Luis' when you get here, they always have rooms to rent. Make sure they're in a nice neighbourhood though, as there are extreme variations. Not sure about the dog and cat, could be a problem. Prices here are according the zone, not really the quality of the place. For example you can pay $3000 pesos a month for an apartment in a nice area-meaning you can safely walk around at night. Or those $3000 pesos will get you a 5 bedroom house in a not so nice area-one where you'll probably get attacked if you go out at night.

I live in San luis Potosi with my small dog and am planning to move on Feb. 1. It's a small room for $1500 MX (about $150 US) per month but you would have access to a kitchen and bathroom. And it's in a nice neighborhood. You could stay for just one month or longer. I would have to ask my landlady about having both a dog and cat there. Also, is your dog big or small? Let me know if you are interested.
