I'm going to interview for nova again. Last time was 2.5 years ago. My questoin is will I still be on record and how will this affect me? I think I didn't get in last time becaues I was late, 4hr car ride in the am.

Unless someone has worked for NOVA's recruiting department, and browses this forum, you're unlikely to have your first question answered here. If your information wasn't forwarded to Japan and was just kept at your local recruiting office, it was likely thrown away during the last major office cleanout.
I don't think it would matter much if the recruiter knew anyway. If the recruiter thinks you'll be a good hire, you'll probably get the job.
