Hi,

I am very interested in teaching English overseas, but I have a question about health insurance. I have a "pre-existing condition" of Crohn's Disease. It's a chronic bowel inflammation that affects people differently. Mine has been under control for about 2 years now (since I was diagnosed) but that doesn't show up on paper. My question: Is there any health insurance that anyone knows of that accepts people with pre-existing conditions or even has a waiting period to do so?

Is there any organization of TESL/TEFOL, etc. teachers that offers any kind of group health insurance plan? I would really, really appreciate any information you can offer. I'm not willing to let my diagnosis get in the way of my goals.
