The Principle got up and made a speech to the student body in the morning assembly encouraging them to be diligent in their English studies and admonishing some of the students for poor discipline in class.

The local teachers have been kind and supportive.

The children are so much fun, they always make me smile, even during the winter monsoon.

Anyone else out there have some positive things to say about their schools?
I would love to hear them.

Although someone's sure to try & roast me for this, I kinda miss standing at the flag, singing...

Wow,
That's great I wondered what they were all singing!
What I can't get out of my head is the music they play at the 10:10 am, exercise time. I even dream of it in my sleep.

Now that IS a positive thing, pretty soon this thread will be sprouting positive notes like mushrooms on cow pies!
I didn't even feel it in Taipei. But you're right, there's nothing like an earthquake to spice up ones life.
I went through one when I was on the 9th floor and the building was wobbling about like a wet noodle. Kinda like a carnival ride. How was your the other day?
