Hi
I'm going to be working for ECC sometime in the near future.
I already have health insurance with Bupa International, this covers me in Japan.
Is this acceptable, or must i have Japanese National Health Insurance by law also? |

| Yes, you must be enrolled in either National Health Insurance or Employee Health Insurance. ECC now apparently is complying with the law and will now enroll teachers in Shakai Hoken, which includes Employee Health Insurance. EHI is cheaper has better benefits than NHI. |
