				| I am going to be visiting the USA for a few days this month, and was wondering if anyone has any suggestions where to exchange yen for US dollars?
Is it best to do it in Japan at a bank, or in America?

 Does anyone have any advice?

				| From my experience, I doubt it would make much difference unless we are talking thousands of dollars.
Not the airport that is for sure. I once saw a 30% difference at Kansai between the buy and sell rate.

				| From my past few trips, I've noticed that I got the best rates from banks at my destination (destination airport as a second choice). The rates at Narita seem to be a little bit high I've noticed -- enough to make a difference in your holiday money, anyway. | |
