What do they want you to do to earn your money?
What is the accomodation? |

just teaching a normal summer camp in the mornings for 3 hours and some afternoon activities, so probably the same hard mundane work, accomodation is in one of Oxford university colleges. |

Look, if you had one shot or one opportunity
To seize everything you ever wanted in one moment
Would you capture it or just let it slip? |

I too have been offered a job with this school so any information would be greatly appreciated.
Has anyone had any experience of the outfit in any capacity?
If you have,
go on,
share.

just check thst your hours do not include evening "association" meaning watching a video or doing homework "club" with the kids.
3 hours a day teachng, that is 4x 45 minute lessons. or two x 90 mins and a 30 minute break, Supervision of the kids is of course taken care of by others...one assumes. and lunch break, perhaps it is also supervised by 'someone else' and every week there will be a school 'disco' and someone else will take care of that and the trips out at the weekend and the one afternoon a week in town shopping...accompanied by someone else
Do you see a picture emerging? Make sure you are not the someone else before you join up Summer school in residential is 24/7 for the whole season someone else has to be up late at night to make sure there are no kids up the other kids ...late at night...Oh and by the way yyou need time and somewhere quiet to prep those lessons too. |

It seems that most of the replies here seem to be advising you to find out what you have to do for your money - they're right.
Also, is accomodation 'included' or 'provided'? If it's 'provided' then they will probably make a deduction from your pay, and 'foget' to tell you that until you turn up. Ask them if it's free. (and keep the email!)
Ask a question like this: Will there be any extra duties that I will be expected to perform? If they say 'no' print the email and keep it. If they say 'yes' then you have to decide whether to ask they will pay you extra, or overtime - none of these (dis)organisations pay overtime but asking can reveal a lot.
So many of these summer school (dis)organisations - even the less bad ones - cannot get enough native English/British staff (many have done on and will never do another) so therefore they recruit from E. and C. Europe - they need you more that you need them. Ask a lot of questions and keep prints of emails.

I've never worked for them but I expect the M&M school pay... peanuts. |
