I'll be arriving in Costa Rica this Saturday- can't wait. I know you can get most things at the stores in San Jose- just wondering what kind of teaching materials I might want to bring from here. Also, are there any kind of basic cooking items that are hard to find? (Couldn't find good measuring cups/spoons in China....) Also, do they have larger size shoes for women- like 8 1/2? Not too expensive?
Anything you wish you had brought/hadn't brought?
What's happening New Years Eve in San Jose/surrounding areas?
Thanks and maybe I'll see one of you soon..!

Holy smokes! If you're concerned about finding size 8 1/2, I'm thinking there's NO way I'll find women's size 12 shoes! I'm also guessing I won't find pants with a 37" inseam.

Seems I'll be doing a lot of shopping before I come in January! Shocked
