Can someone explain the logic of this to me? Normally the heating in the flat is turned on at 7 in the morning and it then up and running all day, although most people who live here seem to be away for work.
In the weekend the heating is not turned on in the morning, it's nice and chilly in here all day and I can praise myself lucky if it is turned on at around 8 in the evening for a few hours.
Today I just stayed in bed cause it was too chilly and uncomfortable, then wrapped myself up on the sofa. I start to wonder if it will be turned on at all.

Sometimes I just cannot follow turkish logic.

me too but it was because of large amounts of alcohol last night.

The heating thing used to drive me mad in an old apt I lived in. When looking for a new apt always make sure that you can control the heating.

lol! It was not only the lack of heating that made me stay in bed but all those drinks I was encouraged to pour down my throat Smile

Things I want for my next flat:
- self control of heating
- a usefull caretaker
- an absent landlord

There is no logic to what they do. In my flat it is so freaking hot I have sweat dripping down my chest. I hate this much heat.. but I think the person that controls the heat, maybe the apartment manager uses his own rules. The best thing to do is to speak to the person you pay rent to. In my case, the month bill last month was almost 200ytl and it was not that hot. Some of them are just idiots.. I don't think they want to get a chill.. cause they think it will lead to their death..or something..

LOL, if this is the case the caretaker definately wants us dead here. It's quarter to midnight and the heating hasn't been on all day.

This starts to be somewhat weird, though. The heating has been off for two days now, it's getting cold in here.
Thank God I brought my hot water bottle to Turkey, Off to bed now, at least it is warm there.

Strange. Those Turks are really strange.

"Logic" and "Turkey" are two words that are rarely found together.

Mmh. I talked to the downstairs neighbour and she said there is a lack of capacity similar to a power cut.
I reckon only for our building, cause my friend down the road just said she sits in cosy warm flat.

Just a small suggestion, don't go running to another flat ,the cost of doing that is too great .Instead invest in a portable gaz fire that will ensure you are warm whatever the flat manager does . I understand that train of thought comes under the "logic" banner .If you can't find any logic here ,make you own ,simple really .
