Hello everyone!
I've frequented the ESL cafe for years, but this is my first post. I have so many questions, but I'll try to keep it to one, at least for now.
I've been reading in previous posts about the importance of having a TESOL certificate to teach in Chile. I don't have one, but I will have my MA in TESOL . Are the job opportunities different for me because of this? If so, how?
I'm confused because I have also read that many employers do not care about certificates or MAs, only that teachers are native English speakers. What have you discovered in your experiences?
