So has anyone worked with this company? In short, as a native English speaker you teach your knowledge of English for free room and board. Actually, you don't really teach, like grammer and all, but you have conversations with the students with no Spanish spoken at all! So as you could imagine the program is based only in Spain right now.
So does anyone have any experience with this? What are the requirements and how was your experience? Does anyone know if they'll actually have Italian programs this year like they did last year? |

I just replied to another post about this. My wife and I were Anglos last summer. It was one of our best weeks in Spain. Pueblo Ingles is all about conversation and fun--you'll spend a lot of time chatting, doing skits, and the bar stays open pretty late. You'll make life-long friends who live in Spain. They do have programs in Italy, but you must first volunteer in Spain in order to be eligible. |

It is certainly a very clever business idea: charge the students lots of money and avoid the bother and expense of hiring qualified and experienced efl teachers by using "volunteers" instead. Wish I'd thought of it when they were practically giving abandoned Spanish villages away for nothing. |
