|
|
I'm planning to go to Saipan for a short holiday at the end of January. My girlfriend is worried that I might need some kind of entry permit. I did some checking and I don't think I do, but I thought I'd ask on here just to see if anyone here had any further information. I'm Canadian of course, with a valid teaching visa for Japan.
Also, if anyone has traveled to Saipan before and has any comments or recommendations, I would be more than happy to listen. I am interested in Saipan mainly from a war buff's point of view, but if it has white sand and blue water then I won't complain either |

You need a reentry permit to come and return on a work visa. No permit, and your visa will be canceled. Single entry permit costs 4000 yen; multiple-entry permit costs 6000.
If you are on a working holiday visa, check with the JAWHVM. |

Yes I'm quite aware about the need for a re-entry permit for Japan. What I'm wondering is, do I need anything to get into Saipan? |
