Has anyone seen the new poster advert for 'English Time'? I came across several while I was in town today, in prime places in Nisantasi and Besiktas, and found them a little weird.

The picture shows 3 vapidly smiling young women dressed in skintight rubber yellow diving suits with hoods (a bit like tall slim Tellytubbies) standing to attention in Istiklal Caddesi in front of the French Consulate, next to a young man dressed in a diving suit decorated with the Union Jack.

'For the First time in Turkey!' the poster announces (in Turkish); 'English Time education without deductions presents 3 plus 1. Finish 3 courses - 4th course in London!'

What does it mean?

Crikey! Is this protesting artistic expression gone mad?

Yes, I saw those too. Couldn't give it my full attention as was hurrying to the metro, but it definitely puzzled me. Thought maybe there was deep meaning I didn't understand...well, maybe not!
