Howdy:
I'm an American teacher in Saigon. I have to get my TEFL certificate (from Text-And-Talk) certified by the Thailand Ministry Of Foreign Affairs with a stamp/seal.
Does anyone know how to go about this?
I've contacted about 7 different email addresses at MOFA, but no one has responded.
Have any of you had your documents certified there?
Thanks.

not trying to scare you but...
I remember a teacher at my last place complaining that he couldn't get his TESOL (that he did in Thailand) certified at the Thai Embassy in Hanoi. Even having the address and contact information of the school, the Embassy would not help him.
Anything to do with work permits here is crazy !!! The Vietnamese government decided to scrutinize my WP after I got it and now doesn't feel my qualifications are ok !!! |

Yep! It's insane. Usually what that means is that they want some under the table money. |
