FYI

got some info this week from someone in the know that the z visa in Beijing has been extended now so that you can get a 2-year visa.

dont know if it applies across all of China though.

this would be really interesting. SINCE I got turned down for a 1 year multi Z in JiangXi provience in the Nanchang office. per the FAO, this is not available for international teachers any longer. only business people can apply.

I've heard a bit about this. I think for now it's just in Beijing on a trial basis. If it succeeds it'll go nationwide. Seem to remember talk of these going to as long as 3-year visas/permits!
