I'm looking for jobs in China, but teaching Spanish. If possible, ones for Spanish speaking engineers. Any thoughts or suggestions?

I don't want to dash your hopes, but everyone I met who wasn't a teacher was sent by their company in their home country. I met two people who tried to get non-teaching jobs while they were in China. The sitution is bleak. It may be possible to get what you're looking for, but you will get paid at the local rate. |

China turns out lots and lots of good engineers. I think you are more likely to find a Chinese engineer working in a Spanish-speaking country than you are Spanish-speaking engineers working in China. Your best bet might be to find a job with an engineering firm that has contracts in China. Lots of luick!

Thanks, for your help. But I guess it doesn't try to look. Do you know of any websites or newspapers that advertise for non-ENglish speaking jobs?
Or companies that work in Latin America?
Anything would help |
