Hello. I'm teaching in China now. (No degree) and I'm heading back to Canada in a few months. I wanna study at a University and some Canadian Universities have 3 year undergraduate Bachelors programs. From what I understand, the education requirements for Korea, Japan, and Taiwan, are that you must have a 3 or 4 year BA degree. I understand that Taiwan you can get in with just a 2 year college diploma combined with a TESOL. But what I'm thinking is that this world (including China) is getting more and more developed and laws are being enforced more. So what I'm wondering is, will they raise the minimum requirements to qualify for a work visa to being that of a masters degree? Or will a 3 or 4 year Bachelors degree always be the minimum requirement within the next few years to teach in Asia? Let me know your thoughts. See ya.
