My prices are on the low end and these prices from TEFL.com are on the high end. So if you look at both you can get a pretty good idea about the range of prices in Peru.

From my research i think the cost they have listed for a 2 bedroom apartment is a little out of whack, you can get one for 350-550 usa dollars. Correct me if Im wrong?

I find shoes to be more expensive and of low quality in Peru. It's worth it if you have someone send them to you (despite the fact that the postal system will probably charge you taxes on them - have them scuff them up a bit and send them out of their original box to try to avoid this) or if you buy shoes before leaving your country of origin and bringing them with you.
