Hi all,
Sorry to annoy everyone again- I've done a check on these places (both on Dave's and other places) but the info is a little old. So far I haven't found anything negative, but am wondering if anyone has had any experience with Scott Foerster from the Shanghai International Studies University/ Shanghai Foreign Language Activity Center for Youngsters. He wants me to go in July for a summer camp as well as the university to teach in the new year. He knows about my knee condition and is still more than happy for me to go, even organising massage and therapy etc for me (though I'm not far off being completely healed!).
Can anyone vouch for him? I will need to let him know in the next couple of days!

A lot of negative comments about him are going around.
Such as: he refuses to hire people who don't match the "color" he wants or if they aren't up to his "physical requirements." I've also read that he's admited that he's "not a teacher" and tries to spin everything.
There's also information stating that people he hires without the help of a recruiter get paid substantially more than those who do (and are told not to talk about it).
I'm not going to comment pro or con as I'm fortunate enough not to have ever met him in person and don't have to accept his drama and b.s., but be very careful nonetheless and good luck.
In fact, be VERY careful. |

Malsol, the Chinese spy, since you always want to defend Chinese schools and invite them to the board to defend themselves, why don't you have the same rules for talking about FTs? Your posts give no suggestion that you have even worked with this fellow or know him. |

Malsol:"I had a personal incident with him."
Sounds entirely unbelievable to me. If you're going to take the time to defame his character in a public forum you ought to at least explain. You ask for so much fairness when FTs are shafted by their schools and complain about it here. Where's your sense of fairness now? Or perhaps you're lying and never even met the guy? |
