Avatars that are larger than the prescribed dimensions shown below are contributing to slowness in downloading some threads. This is even more problematic in China due to the recent cable damage from an earthquake.
All members are asked to immediately downsize avatars to the prescribed dimensions.
Any member not complying with this message runs the risk of losing the ability to display an avatar.
The cooperation of all members is appreciated.
