English teacher Michael Darkinson has a new exhibition of his 'protest' collages opening at the Ucari Cafe in Kadikoy - Sanatkarlar Sokak No. 28 (off Bahariye Sokak, near the Bull.)

Part of the glass doorfront of the cafe where Darkinson's collages are being exhibited was smashed today in broad daylight.

This was probably not caused by the posters in the window advertising Darkinson's show, but because of the picture saluting the murdered journalist Hrant Dink and his stand against Article 301.

Whatever...

Can you put up the Dink poster.

btw maybe the shop window was broken by a Trabzon fan, they are not known for their friendliness.

The Dink picture wasn't one of my collages. It had been in the cafe window since the funeral last week, placed there by the cafe proprietor.
