I was "sinking the boot" into Mobile, if anything--not the OP.
Geez...touchy. Southerner, Van Norden? |

I must be "touchy" because that first reply really sickened me. You just jumped on the bandwagon, which makes you just as bad.
And I can't believe there's been 200+ views of this thread and no-one is bothered by it. "Has the world changed or have I changed?" |

I'd suggest joining Alabama TESOL. That'd be the best way to make connections locally. You might also do a search in Yahoo Groups if you haven't already.
There aren't many ESL teachers here in Arkansas (well, not compared to other states anyway) either.
btw, the southern states speak English, we just have a more distinctive accent than y'all. |

The correct and proper thing to do is apologise to the lovely aimee for your harsh words. She didn't deserve it. C'mon, find it in your heart.

Perhaps you should note that punctuation goes INSIDE quotation marks. |

I have just deleted several postings for being insulting, argumentative and confrontational.

Continuing to do it here will result in your speedy and permanent exit.
Any and all off topic, insulting, argumentative or confrontational postings will be deleted immediately and offenders will be sanctioned.
