I know that there have been several threads about how to get avatars, and I've read through a few of them (I've got one open in another window right now, in fact), but... here's another question, if you've got the patience to read another one:
Am I limited to specific websites for avatars? I found the perfect image, but I don't know if I can link to it. It's just a regular picture on a regular ol' website. BUT, it is the one and only image that I could possibly want for my avatar.
Any guidance? Normally I'm not too much of a technological idiot, but I just don't know if I can do what I want to do. (All I'm getting is a little box with a red X in it!)
