Hi! i have read a lot of the posts, and they have cleared things up considerably for me but just to clarify:

*my best bet for getting a job is to just show up and start dishing out resumes?
* rather than getting a work permit/visa i should just do border crossingsn?
*getting a job that will sustain me is goign to be difficult to find near the beach?

very keen to hear from anyone who's done it, espeically aussies re: visas.
