With the maximum of six months for foreigners in Colombia, does anyone have experience with using two different passports to prolong their stay in Colombia, for teaching purposes?
Also how hard is it to get a job in Colombia for a certified teacher in the `baby boomer`age bracket?
Thanks for any feedback on this

Haven't tried the two passports thing, but you'd still have to leave regularly, just alternate which one you used each time you enter. Is that what you meant?
Also, with your quals, you'd probably be able to get a job in an international school where they would sponsor your work visa.
Good luck,

Even if you have two legal passports, using this to exceed the maximum legal stay is usually considered a crime.
Get a visa.
It shouldn't be that hard.
Not that you'll be in too much trouble, and you can always bribe someone...
Best,
