This question is for those of you who teach (or have taught) ESL at the university level, particularly those in North America. What assessment test (i.e. TOEFL, TOEIC, IELTS, MELAB, CanTEST, etc.) is used at your university and what is the minimum acceptable score on the test for admissions? |

I didn't teach ESL there, but I can tell you that The University of Texas at Austin requires a TOEFL score of 550 for admission. That's where I'm finishing my degree, and my boyfriend looked into transferring over here. The local community college (ACC) requires a score of 500. |
