Hello to all. I am considering a few differant places in Japan. Does anyone live or Know about Yamaguchi or Miyagi, in Sandai? Also I was wondering if anyone knows about Flamenco scene in Japan. Or Mr. Hatano's English School? Or about climate in these two areas of Japan? Sorry this post is kind of random and scattered but any info would help. I have searched the internet and books but always like first or second hand info the best.
Many Thanks!!

Pretty full on flamenco scene here depending on where you are. If you have any specific questions let me know. My sister in-law is into it.
Enjoy,

I am thinking that most obviously Flamenco is huge in Tokyo. I have been studying here in the us for the last 4 years and one of the dancers in my troupe here is from Japan. I am wondering if there is much is Sandai? As i just accepted a teaching postion there. Also
do you or anyone know much about Sandai area? Climate, etc. Where is the Flamenco scene otherwise? Are the teachers Japanese...imports from Spain? Hmmm......
I feel comfortable with the school that I am going to but am a little worried that this area may be cold.
I know this seems kind of petty but I LOVE the sun.

Yeah Tricia, sorry , don't know much about Sendai. Don't know much about Flamenco either, but I am sure that you will find answers to your questions when you get here. When is that?
As for the climate, it will be plenty hot, but I don't know how sunny it will be there. At any rate, you will certainly be bringing the sun with you when you come.
Safe travels,

I will be arriving in Tokyo the 31st and then heading up to Sendai area to teach at Chicago English School.......Anyone ever heard of it?
Anyhow. I am ticket shopping and have found a great site
www.iace-usa.com

Does anyone have a suggestions on other places to shop for tickets? These tickets seem almost too cheap. I got the link from a Japanese friend I have that is living in California.
