Hey,
Sorry if all this has been covered before but I just have a few questions about Cusco for anyone whose worked / lived there.
-How easy is it to find work? Is it possible to find work before you go? I've been trying to find school listings in Cusco on the internet but haven't had much luck
-What's the cost of living like - does the tourism make it quite high? Also, as a city generally, any opinions on what its like to live there? It sounds like a great city but I'm aware its very toursity, has this put anyone off? I'm also wary about it being very cold...?!
Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks! |

hey.
I was just recently in Cusco and the touristy part of the city didn't really bother me. IF anything it made me feel a little bit safer. The people were really nice, the city is beautiful and there is so much to see and do. Also, i was just there in september and it wasn't cold during the day,it was just cold at night (But i guess it all depends what your used to, i live in canada where it gets VERY cold).
Hope any of this information helps you out a little bit... |
