My diploma is not available until 3 or 4 months after graduation (Dec). Will an official Certificate of Completion on university letterhead, plus a final transcript with the graduation notation suffice with Immigration? I know Aeon accepts it for the most recent grads but some other companies don't know what I'm talking about. |

Wasn't good enough for me 4 years ago. Whether that has changed or not, I don't know. Also, it's amazing how it can depend on the person considering the request's current mood and his/her interpretation of the rules. Still, it didn't work for me. |

I graduated in December and was recently offered a position with Interac. I explained to them that I would not be able to get my diploma until March, and they told me that a transcript that said I graduated/completed my last semester at the bottom was fine. They wanted me to leave in March so I assumed it would be okay, but I didn't actually send them anything since I deferred my acceptance.
Hope that helps~ |
