I have seen soe random remarks over the past few months about renting classroom space. Does anyone have any specific information about this? Would it be easier to find on the net, or in print? Any help is great. My current job has me strecthed so thin that it may be time to look elsewhere.

I've never used them, so I can't say whether it's good or bad.

Various community centers will also allow you to rent space for a class in them. However, it reallly depends on the center. Some will allow you to rent but you must float schedules on a weekly basis (meaning never the same time twice).

I've also heard of some kinders allowing people to rent out a classroom to teach from but some of those restict the hours to the time when the students have left for the day but the teachers are still there (like 2-5). Some also require that you provide "free" lessons then earlier at the school.

I've also heard of some churches allowing such and as well as smaller shrines/temples but only a few.

Renting business space can become expensive, but gives you the most flexibility for scheduling.
