Hello Colleages.
I need some help. I know that in Mexico things are enigmatic and especially when dealing with immigration and working papers. But if anyone can share any information or experiences with me that would be a great help to me.
We've hired a South African teacher, who is currently in Europe. One of our sister schools had a South African teacher before, but she was also a Bristish citizen and used her UK passport to enter Mexico and to get her FM3. Now we have a teacher with only South African citizenship. South Africans must apply in advance for tourist visas for Mexico, which she has done. But I've not been able to get IMN to tell me if she will be able to apply for a change of status from FMT to FM3 once she is here. Or If she must apply for the FM3 outside of Mexico.
So any South Africans reading this?
Anyone currently working with a South African?
Anyone ever worked with a South African in Mexico or met a South African working in Mexico?
Thanks for any help! |
