I just wanted to say thank you to all the members (and to Dave) for taking the time to post, to answer questions and to share your experiences.
I have been working in the corporate sector for the past 10 years here in Houston... and decided I was ready for a change. Thanks to you, I feel I have a good idea of what to expect (and what not to expect) when I arrive in China next week.
Hopefully, with experience, in a few years I will be able to pass along as much knowledge and advice to newcomers as you have passed along to me.

This is the best post I have seen yet! How very cordial of you. Corporate sector turned ESLer... Huh...Just when I thought I'd heard it all!
Good luck, and its not the worst move that you can make...it is actually a good one, if you can get the same calibre of job when you return west. |
