Are you talking about the French killed in Saudi Arabia? I don't think that has much to do with the UAE.
I think you need to correct your title since the information is wrong.

| Yes. The two countries are on different planets, let alone different pages. What I've done for friends of mine in the US is send them a copy of Dubai's Time Out magazine showing what's available there for fun and drink. That sets them straight. It probably looks like Good-Time Chicago. |
