Although I heard some positive reports about this health insurance company,
I personally have only experienced the opposite.
After 4+ months of payments, I recently dropped the health insurance they offered because they did not honor their promise to pay 100% of the expenses for the pre-existing conditions that I stated on my application. I have only applied for reimbursement of pharmacy costs and they have still delayed paying claims submitted as far back as November 2006.
They do not answer their e mails, letters, nor follow up on the phone communication one has with them. It is unfortunate that they charge a penalty of 2 months premium for cancelling the policy before the end of the contract. They end up gaining by not paying you back (not honoring their agreement with the client) and also bolster their wallets by charging you a penalty on top of it when you cancel.
Beware using this company with or without proper research (which I thought that I did) Has anyone else had this experience?? |

I know of at least two satisfied users of this company. One had treatment for coronary heart disease (a by-pass). The other had cancer of the bladder.
You should not expect to get back from the company what you have paid in. It is insurance to protect against heavy expenditure on health treatment.
Mind you I have known people whose attitude was that if they did not recoup the monthly cost of premiums they ere being cheated ! |
