Okay so I'm looking to move to HCMC, I'm wondering whether to get some shirts here in Seoul, or to wait until I get to VN.
Anybody know how much getting a good (reasonable) shirt made costs there?
Thanks alot,
BT
PS I guess I should also ask where this can be done... so, where can this be done? Thanks!

Getting clothes made in Vietnam is really easy and cheap. All you do, if you're in HCMC is go to one of the many fabric shops around town. Some of the most easily accessible are on Hai Ba Trung Street accross from a big market. Pick out your fabric there, haggling is always available and necessary. You shouldn't pay more than about $20 USD per meter for fabric, depending on quality and country of origin. How much fabric you need depends upon your size, but I usually go with about a meter per pair of trousers (I haven't had shirts made, but I'm sure it's about the same).
After getting your fabric, head to a tailors and pick out a style you want from a magazine that every tailor will have. I pay about $10 USD per pair of trousers to have them tailored and it takes about four days to finish.
I assume a tailored shirt will cost $30 or less per shirt
Hope this Helps
