Me no work have time to post message.
At previous schools where I have worked in China, I have been given FREE internet access. I have found that the computer menu is in Chinese and that my email address and password have been saved automatically by the computer, so others can read my emails and I can read theirs!
Eventually, my computer-literate Chinese friend remedied the email-address and password-automatically-saved problems, but my friend told me that there is a local-school-based SERVER where administrators (people with an administrative-right) can see and save the contents of every internet (explorer) web page that I visit on the school computers! My friend said that this happens at companies too.
I guess the PRICE of free internet access is that you have to share your private information with administrators.

I have heard such observations time and again! It may be true, and it probably is in many a school, though not in each and every one.
Anyway, one is naive if one believes our data are safe with our email accounts!
Just last Monday, a CHinese teacher friend of mine told me she just quit her job on that day - when she found her own boss reading her emails in the office!
She actually had the courage to tell her boss how rude she considered this!
Most Chinese do not have the guts to talk back to their bosses!
And that's why we have to swallow so much s##T too! |

Any network can be monitored by the adminstrator. Even what you look at after school hours. I became aware of this at a computer networking company I sold for in the US and at the school I worked at in Paris the Headmaster got daily printouts of all the websites teachers and students visited as a precaution.
Big Brother isn't only Chinese!
