Are there any schools in Indonesia that are relatively close (1 hour or less) to good or average surf spots? |

I believe Padang's reasonably close to some decent surf. A lot of surfers also work at the Korean International School in south Jakarta. It's near the toll road, but still a good 3 hour drive to Cimaja and surrounding areas. So more of a weekend trip than a day one. Bali is also an obvious option. |

EF provides weekly transport to, and accomodation at, some of the most wonderful beaches in Indonesia. They also supply the boards (though they do charge for the waxing). |
