OK, here's the situation...my parents went away on a weeks vacation....

No, just kidding. The real situation is that I'm working in a cram school and I want to pick up more hours in the morning. The trouble is that my school doesn't allow their teachers to teach at other schools. Now, I'm not like Beaver Cleaver or anything, what they don't know won't hurt them I figure. I'm just worried that the kindy school might get in contact with my school and complicate my life. I really don't want to tell them where I'm working, it makes me paranoid, if they call for some reason it would just be a headache I don't need. You know what I mean?

So, my question is; do you think most small kindy's will want me to show them some kind of visa? Or are most of these small mom and pop kindy's kind of don't ask, don't tell type of situations? I don't need them for a visa, but maybe they will want to make sure I'm in the country legally. What do you guys think? Do you think most of them will want visa information from me? I was thinking I could tell them I'm studying Chinese, but of course if they ask to see my visa, I'm beat.

So, what do you guys think? Will they ask?

Now, I'm not really looking for abstractions here, of course it's possible they will ask, I know that, anything's possible. What I'm hoping for is that there are some people here who work at small kindy's now or have worked at one in the past and can't tell me about their experiences, and if they asked you for visa information.

Thanks a lot for your help,

fich

Illegal teaching means you don't need to give them any contact information other than a phone number. Don't tell them where you work, and don't show them any of your paperwork. Kindies can't legally hire foreign teachers.
