Hello All,

I have just recently learned of a teacher position vacancy at a private language school in Bursa, south of Istanbul.

It is a full-time position teaching General English and Business English. The salary is competitive and the housing is subsidised.

For details, please PM me and I will be happy to provide them.

Thanks,

David C.

Dear dmb,

Thanks for your reply. It was certainly not my intention to "recruit", but rather to post information about a teaching job vacancy here in Bursa.

If I have violated any of the rules of this forum, please advise and perhaps my prior posting can be removed.

Thanks again.

Dmb,

Thanks for your reply. I completely understand. I have had those kind of days as well.

That's why I was so pleased to be able to share information about a teaching position in Bursa that is actually non-toxic, healthy, redeeming and inspirational. If you'd like to know more, PM me.

Thanks again.

One of my best friends(ex flatmate) is from Bursa. Indeed, she gets married in a couple of months there. (I know I am going off topic here) but why is Bursa considered the gay capital of Turkey?

it refers back to ottoman times when bursa was a center of high culture. florence had the same reputation in the 15th century. it has since lost any meaning outside the odd joke
