| Has anyone had any luck taking the lock off a Nokia or Samsung phone they originally got in Japan? I'm going to Bangkok in April and I'm planning to check out MBK to see if anyone can do it for me. Any tips or information? |

| Go to any weekly market ("dalaat nuk") and there'll be someone there--usually with a soldering iron, laptop and a collapsable table--who will "fix" your phone for a small amount of money. In Bangkok there are probably numerous shops that do this--check out phone sellers in Panthip Plaza. Don't know if they'll be 100% successful with your phone but it's worth a try. Goodluck. |
