Hello,

I've just arrived in Merida and am looking for an apartment, perhaps to share, if anyone might be interested... I'm also in dire need of some advice and helpful hints - as I haven't started searching for a job or began the FM3 process yet. Is there anyone out there who'd like to meet me for a coffee sometime?

Rebecca

Sorry, but I just left Merida after being there for 15 months. I hope you have a job lined up as it is more difficult to get a position there than anyplace else in Mexico.

You should stop by the English Library on Calle 53 between 66 and 68 in the a.m. to meet gringoes. There is also English Spanish conversations on Monday nights at 7-9. Other good places to meet locals these days are the Italian Coffee Company, Cabana Coffee shop, and the Olimpo Restaurant.
